Nehru Nagar is always moving, and being on Rakesh Marg means we are right in the middle of all that Ghaziabad energy. Madan Sweet & Food Point is just a local shop, number 126, right across from the J K Complex. We spend our days around the smell of frying snacks and sugar syrup. It is a busy spot, especially in the evenings when people are heading home and want to take something sweet back to their families. Our glass counters are always full of whatever we made fresh that morning. We do not have a fancy dining area. Most people just stand around or take their food to go. The staff is usually rushing around trying to keep up with the orders, so it can get a little chaotic at times. We have been here for a while, and the shop has its quirks. The floor gets a bit sticky, and it is always loud because of the traffic on the main road. We do not have a mission statement or a polished brand. We just focus on making sure the food is ready on time. If we run out of something, we just tell people to come back tomorrow. It is an honest living, and we like being part of the daily routine for the people in this part of Ghaziabad. We just keep the stove going and the shutters open.
