Our marketing office is over in Vaishali, Sector 4, inside Flat No. 231A. It’s on the second floor, which isn't too many stairs to climb when the lift is acting up. Being in Ghaziabad means we’re right in the middle of a very busy area. Most of the time, the office is a mess of papers and promotional materials. We spend our days coordinating between the warehouses and the shops. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy furniture or a reception desk. It’s just a functional space where we try to keep track of everything going on in the market. The air conditioner hums all day in the summer, and we go through a lot of water. Since we’re in a residential flat, it feels more like a home-based setup, even though we’re part of a bigger company. We have our meetings around a plain wooden table, and there’s always someone calling about a delivery or a price list. It gets pretty hectic around the holidays, but for the most part, we just keep a steady pace. We know the local shops downstairs and the guys at the tea stall. It’s a very grounded way to work, without all the corporate layers you find in big city offices. Sometimes we stay late to finish up reports, but we usually try to head out before the worst of the evening traffic hits the main road. It's just a normal office life for us.
