M. S. Khan Fabrication

M. S. Khan Fabrication is based in the Dasana Masoori area, very close to Thana Masoori. Being near the police station means everyone knows where we are. The shop is a basic setup with all the tools we need for ironwork. We have been here for years and the locals know us by name. It is a dusty area and the work we do is even dustier. We spend the day cutting iron, bending pipes, and welding things together. The sparks fly all day and you have to be careful where you step. It is a small team here, just a few of us who know the trade well. We don't have a showroom with finished products. Most of what we do is made to order. A farmer might bring in a piece of his tractor that broke, or a neighbor might want a new gate for his house. We just take the measurements and get to work. The tea man comes around twice a day and that is usually the only time we stop. It gets really cold in the winter because the front of the shop stays open, but we just wear extra sweaters and keep moving. We are not interested in being the biggest fabrication shop, we just want to do enough work to keep the lights on and help the people around Dasana. It is honest work and it keeps our hands busy.
