Lal Metal Forge Ltd.

Lal Metal Forge Ltd. is located over at A-7/1/13, in the Electro Steel Casting Compound on SSGT Road. It is a big industrial area and our unit is part of a larger complex. We have been doing this for a long time now. The compound is always full of activity, with trucks coming in and out and people moving heavy crates around. Our part of the building is where the forging happens. It is a hot, loud place, especially when all the hammers are going at once. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or carpets in the office. It’s just a practical space where we get the work done. The workers here are local folks who know their way around a forge. We don't use any of those buzzwords you hear from big companies nowadays. We just talk about the metal and the specs and the deadlines. Sometimes the machinery gets temperamental and we have to spend a weekend fixing it, but that is just part of being in this industry. We have seen the SSGT Road area grow and change, with new buildings popping up all the time. But inside our shop, things stay pretty much the same. We keep the fires going and keep making parts as long as there is an order on the books. It’s just a regular, hard-working place where the coffee is strong and the metal is hot.
