Our shop is at Nyay Khand-Ii 861 in Indirapuram. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road but people find us. We do a lot of mobile repairs here, mostly because people drop their phones on the concrete. The workbench is usually covered in tiny parts and screwdrivers. We also handle recharges and some basic paperwork for connections. It’s a small space, so when more than two people are inside, it feels full. We started this place because we knew how to handle the internal parts of a phone. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the backup light to finish a soldering job. We keep a stock of screen guards and some plastic cases on the walls. The floor gets a bit dusty with people coming in and out all day. We are usually here from early morning until late evening because that’s when people get off work and remember they need their phone fixed. It’s not a corporate office with a reception; you just walk in and talk to us directly across the counter. We’ve seen all kinds of phones, from the old button ones to the new ones with three cameras. Every day is pretty much the same routine of checking displays and fixing charging ports that got jammed with lint. We just keep at it and make sure things work before they leave. It’s a simple living for us here at Nyay Khand and we like the routine.
