Khan-E-Khaas

We have been here at Jagdish Nagar Colony for a good while now. The kitchen gets hot in the afternoons especially when we are prepping for the evening crowd. You can find us right on Hapur Road at 93-A if you are looking. It is a busy spot. Most days we are just busy with the stoves and making sure the food is ready on time. We don't have a big fancy setup but it works for what we do. People from the colony stop by after work usually. Sometimes the spices get a bit strong in the air but that is how it goes when you are cooking all day. We started out small and stayed that way mostly because it is easier to manage things ourselves. My cousin helps out with the serving and I stay near the back. The tables are simple and we try to keep the place tidy even when it gets crowded. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. Just stay open and keep the food coming out. It gets noisy with the traffic from Hapur Road outside but inside it is just the sound of the pans. We see the same faces every week which is nice. If you are walking past Jagdish Nagar you will probably see our sign. It is just a regular place to get a meal without any fuss.
