S K Zari Art

I’ve been working here at S K Zari Art on 20 Futa Road for a while now. Most days are just spent looking at fabric and thread, trying to get the patterns right for whoever comes in. We are tucked away in Loni Prem Nagar, so it’s a local spot. People mostly find us because they know the area or saw the sign. It gets busy sometimes, especially when there are big orders to finish, but we just keep at it. The shop isn't fancy. There’s always dust on the floor and piles of materials around, but that’s how it is when you’re actually making things by hand. My hands get tired by the evening, but seeing a finished piece makes it worth it. We don't really have a big office or anything, just the workspace where all the needles and frames are set up. If you walk down the road, you’ll see us. It’s a bit noisy around here with the traffic and people moving about, but inside we just focus on the gold thread and the designs. Sometimes the light isn't great, but we make it work. It’s just a small place doing what we know how to do. There isn't much more to say than that. We just show up every morning, open the doors, and start sewing until it’s time to go home. It’s hard work, but it’s what keeps S K Zari Art going day after day in this part of town.
