New Star

You can find New Star over at Sector 11, number 740, right on the Captan Gas Agency Road in Pratap Vihar. It’s a busy little stretch of road, especially with people coming and going from the gas agency. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while, and it feels like home. The shop is tucked away a bit, but once you know the landmark, it’s easy to find. We do a bit of everything here, whatever the local folks need. The interior is pretty basic, just some wooden shelves we put up ourselves and a small desk in the back. There’s usually a stack of newspapers near the door for anyone waiting. We aren't big on decorations; we just focus on the work at hand. Sometimes the neighborhood kids stop by just to say hello or ask for the time. It gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is getting off work. We’ve had to fix the ceiling fan a couple of times because it makes a clicking sound when it’s on high. The road outside gets quite muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time mopping the floor. We’ve got a small calendar on the wall with pictures of mountains that we never really look at. It's just a regular shop where we try to stay busy. People from the nearby apartments know us well enough to just drop things off.
