Balvir Singh

This is Balvir Singh’s spot. I am located at number 204 on Geeta Marg, which is in the Sri Nagar part of Hapur. If you know the area, it’s not hard to find us at all. We’ve been operating out of this building for quite some time now. It’s a basic place, nothing special to look at from the outside, but it gets the job done for the work I do. I usually get in early to beat the heat and stay until the sun goes down. Most of the work involves handling things face-to-face with people from around Hapur. I don’t use any of those big corporate systems, I just keep track of things in my books. It’s more personal that way, I think. Geeta Marg can get pretty crowded during the market hours, but my corner is okay. I’ve got some good neighbors here who have been around as long as I have. We all kind of look out for each other. I decided to set up here because it felt like a good central point for the community. I don't have any big slogans or anything like that. I just show up and do what needs doing. Some days are faster than others, but that’s just the nature of it. If you’re passing by Sri Nagar, you might see me out front. It’s just a regular local business run by regular people who care about the neighborhood.
