K P Engineering Works

Our shop is located at A 38 in Bagwali Colony, which is part of Shashtri Nagar. It is an engineering works, so it is a place full of metal, tools, and the sound of machines running. It’s not the cleanest place you’ll ever visit because of all the oil and scrap metal, but that’s just the nature of this kind of work. I spend my days mostly on the shop floor making sure the jobs are getting done according to the drawings. We have a few lathes and some welding equipment that we use daily. It gets quite hot in here during the summer months, but we just keep the big doors open and keep working. We handle a lot of small parts and repairs for people in the neighborhood and some bigger orders for local factories. The Bagwali Colony area is a bit tucked away, so it can be hard to find us the first time, but we’ve been here long enough that most of the local delivery drivers know the way. We don’t really have an office staff; if you come by, you’ll probably find me with a wrench in my hand or cleaning up a machine. It is hard work and the hours can be long when we have a big deadline, but it is what we know how to do. We just take it one job at a time and try to make sure everything we build is solid.
