K K Services is located at 102 Ambedkar Road. It’s a pretty central spot, so there is always a lot of movement outside our window. The office is one of those places that feels lived in, with stacks of files on the shelves and a couple of ceiling fans that have a bit of a rattle to them. We handle a variety of service requests for people in the area, and no two days are really the same. Sometimes it’s very quiet and we just sit around drinking tea and catching up on the news, but then three people will walk in at once and things get busy very fast. We have an old wooden desk that’s been here since we started, and the drawers always stick a little bit when you try to open them. We don't have any big corporate rules or anything like that; we just talk to people like normal neighbors. If someone has a problem, we try to see how we can help out. The lighting isn't the best in the back corner, so we mostly stay near the front where the sun comes in. Ambedkar Road is a noisy place to work, but you stop noticing the traffic after a few months. We are just a small team trying to keep things organized and making sure the people who come to us get what they need without too much trouble or waiting around.
