You can find us at the Reliable City Center Mall in Vasundhara. We are on the ground floor at shop GF-3, right at plot 1A in Sector 6. Being in a mall means there is always something happening around us. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or behind the counter getting things ready for the lunch crowd. It gets pretty loud in the mall on the weekends, but during the week, it is a bit more relaxed. We started Jain Eateries because we wanted a steady place to serve food in this part of town. The space is not huge, so we have to be very organized with our supplies and pots. Every morning starts with checking the vegetables and making sure the stove is ready for the day. We do not go in for anything too complicated. It is just about getting the food cooked and served to whoever walks in. Sometimes the mall security guards or other shop owners come by for a quick bite. We keep the menus simple and try to make sure the place stays clean, even when it gets busy. Vasundhara is a growing area, so we see a lot of the same faces coming through our doors. We do not have a big marketing plan; we just open the shutters and get to work. It is a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat from the kitchen. (250 words)
