J. P. Engineering Works

Our workshop is J. P. Engineering Works and you can find us in Gali No. 4 in Banwari Nagar. We are situated off Sihani Road, right across from the Accurate Factory. It is a bit tucked away, but once you find the turn off Meerut Road, it isn't too hard to get here. The street is a bit narrow, so when big trucks come through, everything kind of stops for a minute. We have a decent amount of space inside, though it’s filled up with various parts and machines. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We work on whatever comes in, and the days can be long depending on the project. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we use some portable lamps when we need to see something closely. There is a lot of noise from the neighboring shops too. We’ve been here for a good while and the people in the Gali know us well. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us near the back. We try to keep the tools organized, but by the end of the week, things are usually scattered around. We just clean it up on Saturday and start again on Monday. It’s a simple life and we are just regular folks trying to get the work done right.
