Index Engineering Work

Our place is at Plot Number B-68 in Panchsheel Colony, which is right in the Lal Kuan area. It's a bit of a tucked-away spot, but that suits us just fine for the engineering work we do. The neighborhood has a mix of small workshops and residences, so there is always something going on. Our shop floor is usually a bit greasy and loud, which is pretty standard for an engineering place. We have a small area partitioned off for the desk work, but mostly we are out where the machines are. Lal Kuan is a busy hub, and getting materials delivered can be a bit of a challenge when the streets are narrow. We’ve been here in Panchsheel Colony for quite a while, and we know most of the neighbors. If you're looking for us, look for the gate that's usually open with a bit of metalwork visible. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. People just walk in and ask for whoever they need to see. It’s a very hands-on environment. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to the generator, which adds to the noise. We keep a regular schedule, starting early in the morning. It’s just honest work being done by people who know their way around a lathe and a welding torch. We don't dress up; we wear clothes that can get dirty. By the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired, but the work gets finished one way or another.
