I. B. Engineering Works

I. B. Engineering Works is tucked away in Gali No. 1, Plot No. 2, inside the Punjab Exppeler Compound on Meerut Road. It’s one of those places that’s easy to miss if you’re driving too fast on the main road. The compound is full of different businesses, so there’s always someone loading a truck or moving some heavy equipment around. We have a fairly small unit, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. It’s been our home for quite some time now. The walls are a bit stained from the oil and the floor has its share of scratches, but that’s what happens when you’re actually working. We don’t have a dedicated sales person or anyone in a suit. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll find one of us covered in a bit of grime from the machines. We take the jobs as they come in and try to stay on top of the schedule. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a few things need to be delivered at the same time. We don’t spend much on making the place look pretty because the work is what matters. If a neighbor from the compound needs a hand with something, we try to help out. It’s a tight-knit kind of place. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand, making sure the parts we make are what was asked for. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just trying to make a living and do right by the folks.
