Honey Engineering Works

Honey Engineering Works is situated on 30 Feet Road, along Pragati Marg. We are close to the Hindon Dharam Kanta on Meerut Road in Hindon Vihar. It’s a workshop where there is always the sound of metal and tools. We do various engineering jobs, mostly fixing things or making small parts. It’s a dirty job with lots of grease and oil, but someone has to do it. The shop is usually full of half-finished projects and spare parts. We don't have a front desk or a waiting room. You just walk in and talk to whoever is holding a wrench. We’ve been at this location for a good number of years. Hindon Vihar is a busy industrial-type area, so we fit right in. The heat from the machines can be a lot in the summer months. We just drink plenty of water and keep moving. We aren't a big factory with automated lines. Most of what we do is by hand or with older machines that still work just fine. People bring us things that are broken and we try our best to get them working again. It’s satisfying to see a machine come back to life. We don't do much talking, just a lot of doing. That’s how we like to run things here on Pragati Marg. It's a tough but fair living. Sometimes we stay late because a neighbor needs a repair finished for their own work the next morning. We just keep our tools sharp.
