Hari Om Metals

You can find Hari Om Metals on the Old G T Road, specifically at Meera Ghati Chowk. We are directly opposite the Subhash Gate, which is a major landmark around here. Because we are on the G T Road, the environment is incredibly busy and loud 24 hours a day. There are always heavy trucks rumbling past and a lot of dust in the air. We deal with all kinds of metal, so our yard is full of piles of iron, steel, and whatever else comes our way. It’s a gritty job, and our hands are usually covered in grease or rust by the end of the day. There is no air conditioning or fancy furniture in our shop. We have a small cabin for the accounts, but the rest is just open space for the metal. We spend our time weighing materials and negotiating with the transporters who stop by. It’s a tough business and you have to be practical to survive on this road. We’ve been at Meera Ghati Chowk for a long time, so we’ve seen the area change a lot, but the metal business stays pretty much the same. We don’t use any fancy language to describe what we do. We buy metal, we sell metal, and we move it around. It is basic, honest work that keeps us grounded in the middle of all the traffic.
