I run Gujjar Communication over in Vijay Nagar, at Shivpuri 1209. It’s a small shop where we handle a lot of different things related to phones. Most of the time, I’m helping people with their mobile recharges or looking at phones that aren't working right. Vijay Nagar is a lively place, and Shivpuri always feels like there’s something going on. The shop at 1209 isn't very large, so it can get a bit cramped when three or four people come in at once. I’ve got counters filled with screen guards and chargers and all those little things that people lose or break. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting sometimes, and then suddenly everyone arrives at the same time. I don't use any big marketing tricks. People just know I’m here. I’ve lived in this area for a while, so I know most of the people who walk past the shop. We talk about the local stuff while I’m working on a phone. The hours are long, and I usually stay open until the street goes quiet at night. It’s just how I’ve always done it. I don't have a big staff, so it’s mostly just me here. Keeping track of all the different recharge plans and new gadgets is a full-time job in itself. It’s a simple business, and I try to keep it that way. No fuss, just fixing things and helping out.
