Goswami Hello Point & Communication is located right on the G.T Road at number 231. Being on such a big road means there is always noise from the trucks and cars passing by. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. The shop is mostly about phones and staying connected, hence the name. We have racks of SIM cards and all those small accessories people always lose. It’s a busy little place. I spend a lot of time talking to customers about their data plans or why their signal is weak. Sometimes people just stop in because they are traveling along G.T Road and need a quick charger. The shop stays dusty because of all the traffic outside, so I’m always wiping down the glass counters. It’s a one-room setup with a small bench in the back for repairs. We don't have a lot of space for people to sit, so they usually just stand around and chat while I work. My family has been around this area for generations. We just do our work and go home. There is nothing complicated about it. We see new faces every day because of the location. 231 G.T Road is easy to spot once you get close. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to walk in. It’s a long day but the road keeps things interesting for us.
