If you come down B.S. Road to the Loha Mandi area, you’ll find us at number 118. Goel Steels is right in the heart of the steel market. It is a noisy, dusty place with big trucks constantly trying to turn around in narrow spaces. We spend our days surrounded by iron rods, sheets, and heavy metal. The office is just a small room at the front where we keep the books and take calls. There is usually a layer of fine dust on everything, no matter how much we clean. We drink a lot of tea to keep going, especially in the winters when it gets really cold in the yard. The sounds of clanging metal and workers shouting to be heard over the traffic are just the background music to our lives. We have been at this address for a long time and we know the other steel traders around us. It’s a very straightforward business. You need steel, we have it, and we figure out how to get it onto your truck. There’s no corporate fluff here, just honest dealings and heavy lifting. B.S. Road is always a bit of a gamble with the traffic, but we are always here from morning till late evening. It is just the way the Loha Mandi works, and we are glad to be part of the hustle. We just take each day as it comes.
