Our workshop is right here in Ghaziabad, located on Gali Number 4. It’s a busy spot near Meerat Rd 12 and we have been working at this address for quite some time now. The workshop is usually full of metal scraps and heavy tools. It gets pretty loud during the day with all the cutting and welding going on. People from around the area bring in all sorts of parts that need fixing or making. We don’t have a big office or anything fancy, just the floor where the work happens. Sometimes the dust from the road comes inside but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Our guys are mostly busy with their hands, and there’s always grease somewhere on the floor. We keep things simple and just focus on the jobs that come through the door. It’s not a quiet place but we like it that way. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that’s when we take a small break before getting back to the machines. Every morning we open the shutters and start moving the heavier equipment around to make space. It’s a lot of manual work and the hours can get long when there is a big pile of stuff. We just stay here and do what needs doing for the folks who drop by. Usually, there's a radio playing somewhere in the back but you can hardly hear it over the noise. We’ve got a couple of old fans that move the hot air around during the summer. It’s not a glamorous setup, but it’s been our home for years.
