Down on Sihani Road, if you head into Gali Number 9, you’ll run into Dhiman Machine Tools. We’ve been operating out of this lane for quite some time. It’s a typical machine shop setup. We have the lathes and the drills and all the bits and bobs that go along with it. It’s usually pretty greasy in here, and there’s always a pile of metal shavings somewhere that needs sweeping up. We take on jobs for local factories or sometimes just a guy who needs a part turned for his old tractor. We don’t have a receptionist, so you usually have to yell over the sound of the machines if you want to get someone’s attention. It’s a loud place, but we like it that way. It means things are getting made. We’ve lived in this area our whole lives, so we know most of the people who come through the door. We don't put on any airs or try to act like we're some big city firm. We're just a bunch of guys who are good with our hands and know how to work a piece of metal. Some days the machines give us trouble, and some days everything runs smooth as silk. We just take it as it comes. Gali Number 9 is our home, and we’re proud of the work that comes out of our shop every day. It's not fancy, but it's ours and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk.
