Delhi Kitchen Key

We’ve been here at Vasundhra Sector 12 for a while now. It’s right on Main Road 511. It gets pretty noisy outside with all the cars and bikes going past our door all day long. My brother and I started Delhi Kitchen Key because we just wanted to make food that people actually like to eat when they’re tired after work. Most days it’s just us back there handling everything. The kitchen gets hot, especially during the summer months when the fans don't do much. We don't have fancy furniture or anything like that. It’s just a place where you can get something hot. We know most of the people who live in the blocks nearby. They stop in on their way home. Sometimes the delivery guys are waiting around outside and we give them water. We try to keep things clean and simple. There’s no big secret to what we do. We just wake up early, get the supplies from the market, and start cooking. If the stove is working well and the ingredients are fresh, we're happy. Some days are busier than others. Usually, around 8 PM, it gets a bit chaotic. We just do our best to keep up. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat. We’ve had this spot for a few years and it feels like home now. The neighbors are nice enough and we like the routine of the place.
