Deepak Telecome

Deepak Telecome sits right on Meerut Road near Ambedkar Road 77. It is a busy spot because of all the traffic passing by all day and night. You can hear the horns honking constantly while we work. The shop is mostly for mobile repairs and selling small things like earphones or screen guards. I started this place a while back and it has stayed pretty much the same. The counter is a bit scratched up from all the phones being slid across it. We have a small workbench in the back with a soldering iron and some magnifying glasses. It is often messy with wires and tiny screws everywhere. Meerut Road is always dusty so I have to wipe the glass every hour or so. People who are traveling often stop in because they forgot their charger or their battery died. We talk to all sorts of people from truck drivers to office workers. The space is tight, especially when three or four people come in at once. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us handling the repairs and the customers. Ambedkar Road is just a stone's throw away so we get foot traffic from that side too. It is a straightforward business. We fix what is broken if we can. Sometimes we can't and we just tell the customer that. It is honest work and keeps us busy. That is just how the day goes for us at the shop.
