Our place is in Flat No S-3 over in Rajendra Nagar. It’s tucked away in Sector 3 of Sahibabad, which is a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main parts of Delhi, but it’s where we do our thing. We are an engineering group, mostly dealing with the technical side of things every day. The building is just a regular spot, nothing like those big glass towers you see in Noida. It’s actually a bit more practical for us. We’ve got desks, some old files, and usually a lot of noise coming from the street outside. Ghaziabad has that busy, industrial feel to it, and we are right in the middle of it. Some of the guys have been working here for years, so we all know the local tea stall and where to get a decent lunch. We don’t really have a big reception desk or anything. You just come in, and someone will probably be at a computer or on the phone. We try to keep things simple. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the backup, but we still get the work done. It’s not a glamorous life, but engineering is about the details, not the look of the office. We just stay focused on the tasks we have for the day and try to head home before the traffic gets too crazy on the main road.
