D K Engineering Work is located at G T Road in the Krishna market, shop number 1109. If you walk into the market, you’ll hear us before you see us. There is always the sound of metal being cut or the hiss of a welding torch. We’ve got machines that have been with us for years, and they are covered in oil and fine metal dust. Our hands are usually black with grease, and that’s just a sign of a busy day. We handle all sorts of engineering repairs and custom metal work that people bring in from the nearby industries or small shops. Krishna market is a crowded place, and our shop is no different. We have scraps of iron and steel piled in the corners, and sometimes it’s hard to find a clear spot on the floor to stand. It’s hot work, especially in the summer with the machines running, but we just keep the doors open to the market air. We don't have a front desk or a waiting room. If you come to see us, you’ll find us right there at the workbench or bending over a piece of heavy equipment. We take things as they come, whether it’s a small welding job or something that takes a few days to get right. It’s a gritty, loud environment, but it’s where we do our daily work. We close up when the market gets quiet.
