Bhushan Steel Ltd. Sahibabad, Ghaziabad (U.P.)

Working out of Flat 71 in Asha Pushp Vihar is a bit unusual for a steel company, but it’s where we do our administrative bits. It’s in Block 2nd, and honestly, it feels more like a home than a regular office. We’ve got desks set up where you’d expect a dining table to be. It’s convenient because Kaushambi is right there on the edge of Ghaziabad, so getting to the Sahibabad site doesn't take forever unless the flyover is blocked. We spend our hours tracking shipments and making sure the billing is sorted. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down, which isn't always easy when you're arguing about steel deliveries on the phone. We don't have a glossy reception area or anything like that. You just walk in, and there we are with our ledgers and laptops. It’s a functional setup for Bhushan Steel. Sometimes we have tea on the balcony when there’s a lull in the work. The view isn't much, just other buildings, but it’s a nice break. Dealing with the UP side of things means we’re used to the local pace. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We’re just a bunch of people making sure the steel gets where it’s going. It’s steady work and it keeps the lights on. Most of the guys have been here for years, so we’re a tight group and we know the routine.
