Bhanwar Engineering Works

The workshop is over at 309/10 in Indirapuram, specifically the Khora Vandana Enclave area. It’s a bit of a rough-and-ready part of town, mostly industrial and small houses mixed together. Bhanwar Engineering Works is where we do all our metal cutting and welding. You can hear the sound of the grinders from down the street. It’s a dusty place, and our clothes are usually covered in oil and metal shavings by lunch. We have some heavy machines that take up most of the floor space. The Khora area is always busy with people moving around and small trucks delivering materials. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and the work we do. Most of our customers are locals or people from the nearby construction sites who need something welded or a part fabricated quickly. We don't have a fancy waiting room, people usually just stand around and watch us work or go get a tea nearby. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we have been in this enclave for quite some time now. Some days are slow, and we just clean the tools, but other days we are working late into the evening to get a job finished. It’s just how engineering works in a place like this. We make sure the power generator is ready because the electricity can be a bit patchy around here and we hate to leave a job halfway.
