Ambica Steels

We’re based out of unit 72 in the Prakash Industrial Estate, right near the U.P. Border. Being in an industrial area means there’s always a lot of noise and trucks moving around, but it suits what we do. We deal with steel, so it’s heavy work and things can get pretty dirty around the shop. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us moved back among the stacks of material. We’ve been here for a while and know most of the neighbors in the estate. It’s a gritty kind of job, but it’s what we know. The air usually smells like metal and oil. We spend our days moving stock and cutting things to size. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear nice clothes. We just focus on getting the orders out. Sometimes the weather makes the warehouse really hot or freezing cold, but we just get on with it. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just us and the steel. We try to keep things simple and avoid any unnecessary drama. If we have the stock, we’ll tell you. If we don’t, we’ll say that too. There is no point in complicating things. We just load up the trucks and move on to the next task.
