Ambica Steels Limited

We’ve been over here at 32, Site-Ii on Loni Road for quite a while now. Most days it’s just about getting the steel orders sorted and making sure the trucks get loaded right. It’s loud in the industrial area here in Mohan Nagar, but you get used to it after the first few months. The machines run pretty much all day and there is always some dust on the floor no matter how much we sweep. It’s not a fancy place, just a lot of metal and people trying to get their work done before the sun goes down. My father used to say that steel doesn't care about your feelings, it just needs to be handled right, and that’s what we do. We have a small crew and most of us have been working together for years, so we know who is supposed to be doing what without having to talk about it too much. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks, and then we all just sit around having tea until it’s fixed. That is just how it goes in an industrial estate like this. We don’t really do big speeches or fancy meetings. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back near the furnace or checking the inventory lists. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and try to stay out of trouble.
