You can find us at Plot Number 50 in Sector 31. This is part of the Kasna Industrial Area in Greater Noida, which is out in the Gautam Budh Nagar district. It’s quite a drive to get out here, and the roads can get pretty dusty with all the construction and trucks moving around. Our place is basically a large shed or factory unit where we keep all the laser equipment and parts. It’s not the kind of office where you wear a suit and tie. Most of us are in work clothes because things can get a bit messy or greasy. The machines are running a lot of the time, so there’s a constant hum in the background. We spend a lot of our hours checking the specs and making sure the laser systems are doing what they are supposed to do. It’s hard work, especially during the summer months when the metal roof gets hot. We have a small cabin for the paperwork and to take a break from the noise. We eat our lunch together and talk about whatever is on the news. It’s a practical environment where the focus is on the hardware. We don’t spend much time on fancy presentations. Instead, we’re usually looking at blueprints or testing out components on the floor. It’s a long day out here in Kasna, but we’re used to the rhythm of the industrial area and the work that needs finishing.
