Priti Sports & Gift Centre

We are located in Radhika Market over in Atta Sector 27. The shop is a mix of things really. One side has cricket bats and footballs, and the other side is full of gift items like clocks and vases. It’s a bit of an odd combination but it works for us. I spend a lot of time restringing badminton rackets in the back corner. The floor is often cluttered with boxes of shuttlecocks and new arrivals that I haven't had time to put away yet. Radhika Market is a lively place, so there’s always someone walking past or sticking their head in to ask a question. We don’t have a big staff, just me and my cousin usually. We share a small tiffin for lunch behind the counter. The walls are painted a pale blue that’s starting to peel in the corners. We’ve got a couple of trophies on the top shelf just for decoration. People from the local colonies come here when they need a new whistle or a birthday present for a classmate. It’s not a giant showroom, just a local shop where we know which drawer holds the extra batteries. The summers get hot since we only have the two ceiling fans, but the door stays open to catch any breeze. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. Most people around here know us by name and we know theirs too.
