Our branch of Infosys is situated at 308/C, Sector-19, Noida. While the name is known all over the world, our local office here feels much more like a regular workplace where people just get on with their jobs. We aren't in one of those massive glass campuses you see on the news. Instead, we are tucked into Sector-19, which is a busy area with lots of shops and other small businesses nearby. The office is functional. We have our computers, our chairs, and a small space for breaks. We mostly do IT work and support from this location. It’s a lot of sitting and typing, and the occasional meeting to figure out a problem. We don’t have any of those fancy perks like gymnasiums or sleeping pods. We just have a kettle and some biscuits in the corner. The people working here are mostly locals from Noida or nearby Delhi. We talk about the commute and the weather just like everyone else. We don’t use much big corporate talk within these walls. We just follow the instructions we get and try to finish our work on time so we can go home. It’s a very practical, everyday kind of environment. People usually find us if they have specific business with this branch. We just keep things moving along steadily without making a big deal out of it. It’s a normal office.
