Our office is over in Sector 20 of Noida, at B-124 to be exact. It’s a decent spot in a part of town that has seen a lot of changes lately. Octagon Builders & Promoters (P) Ltd has been operating from here, focusing on the construction and building side of things. You will usually find blueprints spread out on the main table and a bit of dust on the floor from people coming in from site visits. We spend a lot of time on the phone or driving out to check on how things are progressing with the latest structures. Noida is always growing, so there is always something going on nearby. The office itself is functional and has a small area where we meet with people to discuss plans and figures. It isn't a very large space, but it serves our purpose well enough for the daily routine. We have a couple of filing cabinets that are starting to get quite full. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a bit of noise, but we don't mind it as long as it keeps the heat away. Working in the building industry means we deal with a lot of practical stuff, from bricks to permits. It’s not always glamorous work, but it’s what we know how to do. We just stay focused on the tasks at hand and try to keep things organized at the B-124 office.
