Brounsa Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is situated in Narayanpur Brounsa, in the Sultanpur Sadar region. Our office is at Rajesh Kumar Mishra’s house. Sultanpur has a lot of farmers, but many of them work on very small pieces of land. We realized that if we all joined up, we could maybe get a better handle on the costs of farming. It is expensive to rent tractors and buy good quality seeds on your own. So, we formed this company to share the burden. Most days you will find us discussing the weather or the state of the roads. Narayanpur Brounsa is a quiet place and we like it that way. We don't have any corporate goals or big presentations. Our goal is just to make sure we have enough to take care of our families and keep the farms running. We handle various types of grains and local produce depending on what time of year it is. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for hours because everyone has an opinion on how things should be done. It is a bit messy sometimes, but that is how it goes when you have a community involved. Rajesh's place is always open for the members to come and talk. We are just trying to do our best with what we have in Sultanpur.
