Altracon Readymix Concrete Private Limited operates out of G-076 in Sector-32, Pi Ekanki Enclave. Concrete is a tough business because you are always working against the clock. Once the mix is ready, it has to be delivered and poured before it starts to set. Our site in Sector-32 is where all that coordination happens. It’s a dusty and often muddy place, depending on the weather. We have our mixers and trucks coming and going at all hours. It isn't a quiet job, and it’s certainly not a clean one. Most of us who work here are used to having concrete splatters on our boots and clothes. Pi Ekanki Enclave is where we’ve set up our base, and we’ve become a familiar sight in the area. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the materials like the sand and cement that go into the mix. It’s a lot of responsibility because people are counting on that concrete for their buildings. The office at G-076 is mostly used for scheduling the trucks and talking to site managers over the phone. We don't have any polished sales pitches or anything like that. We just show up, do the pour, and move on to the next one. It’s hard, physical work that keeps us busy from the early morning. We’re just a bunch of people trying to do a job here in the local area.
