Ganga Building Material is located at W Z 572 D in Naraina Village, which is a pretty tight spot near the Ch Fattsingh Market. If you come by, you’ll see piles of sand and stacks of bricks right out front. It’s a dusty business, and there is no way to keep your clothes clean when you’re moving cement bags all day. We spend a lot of time outside talking to contractors and people from the neighborhood who are fixing up their houses. The tractors and small trucks are always coming and going, trying to navigate the narrow streets of the village. We have a small office area that is mostly just a place to keep the ledger and escape the sun for a few minutes. It’s not a fancy shop with a big sign; most people just know us because we’ve been on this corner for years. We deal with the basics like grit, stone, and rebar. Sometimes the delivery truck gets blocked by a cow or another parked vehicle, and we just have to wait it out. That’s just how life is in Naraina. We don't try to act like we're a big company. We’re just local people providing the stuff that people need to build their walls and floors. It’s heavy, dirty work, but it’s honest, and we like being right here in the middle of the village market area.
