S S Memorial Public School

S S Memorial Public School is situated right near the Shanidev Mandir in Greater Noida. We are also very close to Shaheed Park, which is the best landmark to use if you are trying to find the place. This part of Greater Noida used to be very empty, but it’s getting more built up every year. The school itself is a very straightforward building. We have the standard classrooms and a small courtyard area for the kids. Most of the children who come here live in the sectors nearby. You can hear the temple bells from the Mandir sometimes if it’s a quiet morning. We don't use any of those expensive marketing tricks or big posters. We just have our building and our staff doing their daily jobs. Many of the teachers have been working here for a long time. They know all the kids by their names and they know which ones are likely to be talking when they should be listening. It’s a very normal, everyday environment. We have the assembly in the morning and then everyone goes to their classes. In the afternoons, when school is over, the area outside by Shaheed Park gets really crowded with buses and parents waiting. We just try to keep things moving so everyone gets home safely. It’s not a fancy life, but it is what we do. We just want the kids to learn something useful for their lives later on.
