Merry Child International School

Our school is located over in Greater Noida, in the 201310 zip code area. It’s a growing part of the city, so there is always some construction going on nearby. Merry Child International School is where we spend our time. It’s a big enough building with several floors and a lot of stairs. We see a lot of different faces every day. The kids come from all over Noida. It gets pretty hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day long. We don’t have a lot of big speeches to give about what we do. We just follow the curriculum and make sure the students are where they are supposed to be. The classrooms have the usual whiteboards and desks. Sometimes the playground gets a bit crowded when everyone is out at once. We’ve got a gatekeeper who knows most of the parents by sight now. It’s a busy place, especially in the mornings when the vans arrive. We try to keep things organized, but with so many kids, there is always a bit of chaos. That's just how schools are. We keep the hallways clear and make sure the lunchroom stays clean. People move in and out of Noida all the time, so we get new students fairly often. We just show them where their desk is and get started. It’s a straightforward way to run things.
