Delhi Public School

The school is located right off the Sector 132 expressway in Noida. It is a massive area, B-1 to be exact, and you can see the tall buildings of the surrounding sectors from the upper floors. Being near the highway means there is a constant low hum of traffic in the background. The morning is usually a bit chaotic with the buses lining up in rows. We have a lot of ground to cover, so the staff is always moving around with walkie-talkies or clipboards. The corridors are wide, which is good because the kids tend to run when they think nobody is looking. We have a lot of plants in pots near the entrance, though keeping them green in the Noida heat is a difficult task. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff like wooden desks, whiteboards, and backpacks piled up in the corners. In the afternoons, the sun hits the windows on the west side, and it gets quite bright inside. We spend a lot of time checking the attendance registers and making sure the water coolers are filled up. It is a busy environment where something is always happening, whether it is a leaky tap in the bathroom or a missing basketball. We just try to keep things running smoothly without too much fuss. Most of the people working here have been around for years, so we know the shortcuts through the building.
