St Xaviers High School

St Xaviers High School is located in Xavier’s Enclave, which is part of the Meenakshi Nagar area in Berhampur. It’s a pretty large building and you can’t really miss it if you are in the neighborhood. We have been operating here for quite some time now. The school has a big gate and a yard where the students gather before the first bell rings. Inside, the hallways are wide and can get quite loud between classes when everyone is moving around. We have several classrooms spread across the floors, each with its own set of wooden desks. The teachers usually carry their bags and books from one room to another. It’s a busy place from Monday to Saturday. During the rainy season, we have to make sure everyone wipes their feet so the floors don’t get too muddy. We have a small office near the main entrance where we keep all the files and handle the mail that comes to Berhampur Ho. It’s not a quiet place, there’s always something going on, whether it is a class or someone fixing a light in the hall. We use simple chalkboards for most of the teaching. The students come from all over the city, and the local rickshaws are always lined up outside when school lets out. It’s just a standard high school doing the work it needs to do every single day without much fuss.
