Scholar English Medium School

Our school is located in Berhampur City, right on 2nd Lane in Sastri Nagar. Being in Berhampur-Orissa, specifically in the 760002 area, means we are right in the middle of a busy residential neighborhood. Scholar English Medium School is just a local place for kids to come and get their lessons done. We have been here for a bit and most of the parents in Sastri Nagar know where we are. It is a simple setup with classrooms and a small area for the children. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded during the morning drop-off, but that is just how it goes in this part of town. We are not a huge institution with shiny glass buildings, just a regular school where we focus on the basics. The teachers here are local people mostly. We use English for the classes because that is what the parents want for their children. It can get quite hot in the summers here in Berhampur, but we keep the fans going. If you walk down 2nd Lane, you can't miss the building. It has been a part of this community for some years now. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or big events. It is mostly just about the daily routine of teaching and making sure the kids stay on track with their books. We are just glad to be working here in Sastri Nagar. We just keep things running.
