Takshshila Residential School

Our school is located in Chanakya Puri, within the Ankushpur area of Ganjam. Because we are a residential school, the place feels a bit like a small community. We have the classrooms where the teaching happens during the day, and then we have the dormitories where the students stay. It's a full-time job for everyone here since the school never really closes. We have a dining hall where everyone eats together, and the kitchen staff starts their work very early in the morning. The location in Ankushpur is fairly quiet, which is good for the students when they are studying in the evenings. We have a few open spaces on the grounds for them to move around. The buildings are practical and sturdy, built to handle a lot of people living in them. We don't have any corporate polish here; it's a very grounded kind of place. Most of us who work here have been doing this for a long time. We handle the maintenance ourselves and try to keep the facilities in good shape. It's not always easy keeping everything running smoothly 24/7, but we do our best with what we have. It’s a simple life focused on the students' daily needs and their education. We just take things one day at a time and keep the routine going.
