Gobara Public School

We are right on the Gobara Main Road. If you are driving through this part of Ganjam, you can’t really miss Gobara Public School. It is a simple building, nothing too fancy. Our classrooms serve the families right here in the local area. Most of the kids walk to school since they live so close by. The 761124 area is where we've put down our roots. It gets quite dusty on the main road sometimes, especially when the big trucks go by. We spend a lot of time sweeping the front steps. Inside, the space is just a bunch of rooms and a small area for the kids to play. We aren't trying to be the biggest school around. Making sure the kids in Gobara have a place to go every day is the main goal. The teachers are locals too. We talk about the weather and the local news while we wait for the bell to ring. Life here is very grounded. We don't use a lot of complicated technology or have big flashy events. Chalkboards and textbooks are what we use mostly. It works for us. Parents know they can just stop by if they have a question about their child. We don't have a formal reception desk or anything. You just find whoever is in the office. It’s just how things are done in a small place like this. We're glad to be here and doing this work for the community. It keeps the days interesting for all of us.
