Vikas U B Vidhyalay

Vikas U B Vidhyalay is tucked away in Dehgam, and if you’ve been to this part of Gandhinagar, you know how things go around here. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. The school building isn't brand new or anything, but it’s sturdy and has seen many kids grow up and move on. Every morning, the streets around here get a bit crowded with students arriving on cycles or walking from nearby. It’s a bit noisy when the bell rings, but that’s just life in a school. Our staff members are mostly local people who understand the area well. We spend a lot of time just keeping things running, like fixing desks or making sure the water coolers are working during the hot Gujarat summers. It gets really dusty in Dehgam sometimes, so there’s always cleaning to do. We don't have a lot of big fancy events, just the usual day-to-day stuff that happens when you're trying to help kids learn their lessons. The playground is a bit small, but the kids don't seem to mind much when they’re out there during break time. People in the neighborhood know us by name, and we know most of the parents too. It’s just a regular place where we try to do our bit every day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows and keep going. That’s just how it is here.
