Suraj Steel Ltd

Suraj Steel Ltd is based at T-11 in the Shivkedar Apartments. We are right near Chandlodia Lake in the Chandlodia area of Ahmedabad. Having an office in an apartment building is a bit different, but it works for us. We are not a massive factory with chimneys; we are more of a trading and management office for our steel business. The view of the lake is nice when we have a moment to look out the window, though most of the time we are buried in spreadsheets or on the phone. It is a bit more relaxed than being in the middle of a heavy industrial zone, but we still work hard. People sometimes find it funny that a steel company is in an apartment, but it is just how we started out and it suits our needs. We have a lot of samples of different steel grades scattered around the room. The area around Chandlodia is growing fast, so there is always some construction noise in the background. We don't have a big receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you just walk in and talk to whoever is at the desk. We handle our orders, talk to our suppliers, and try to keep our customers happy without any big corporate speeches. It is a simple, honest way to run a business, and being near the lake makes the work days a little bit better.
