A. V. Weigh Systems

If you are driving down Dahegam Road, you’ll see us at Plot No. 134, right across from the Sr Petrol Pump. A. V. Weigh Systems has been sitting here for a bit now. We spend our time looking at scales and different types of weighing equipment. It’s a lot of technical stuff, making sure the numbers on the screen match what’s actually on the plate. People stop in because they need their systems checked or they’re looking for a new setup for their own shops or factories. Since we are right on the road, it gets noisy with the traffic and the tankers pulling into the petrol pump opposite us. The shop floor is filled with different models, some big ones for heavy loads and smaller ones for more precise work. We have a lot of tools scattered around for repairs. Sometimes someone brings in an old scale that hasn't worked in years and we have to see if we can find parts for it. It can be finicky work, dealing with small sensors and wiring. We don't really do much in the way of decoration here; it’s mostly just shelves of equipment and a counter where we talk to customers. Usually, we are busy recalibrating things or writing out receipts. It’s a straightforward business, really. We just focus on the machines and making sure they show the right weight when someone puts a load on them.
