Banga Iron & Steel Pvt Ltd.

Our place, Banga Iron & Steel Pvt Ltd., is situated out in Village Zak. We are on Plot No-7&8 in Block No. 338. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city of Gandhinagar, but it’s quiet out here in the Dahegam taluka. We have a good amount of space for the iron and steel we store. The yard is mostly open, so we deal with the sun and the dust every day. It’s a rugged kind of work. We moved here because we needed the room for the heavy materials. There are a few other industrial plots nearby, but mostly it's just open land around the village. We have a small office shed where we keep the records. It's nothing fancy, just a desk and some chairs that have seen better days. The trucks come in through the main gate and we spend a lot of time loading and unloading. It’s heavy work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes the local villagers stop by to say hello. We’ve become part of the landscape here over the years. We don't use any fancy management systems. We just track what comes in and what goes out on paper mostly. It’s an honest way to run things. The weather can be tough in the summer, but we just drink a lot of water and keep moving the steel. That is how things go at Plot No-7&8.
