Design Metal

Design Metal is based out of the Ramdev Estate in Gota Gam. We are in unit 1/11, which is just behind Raj Granite. It’s an industrial estate, so there are a lot of small workshops and businesses all around us. We work with metal here, doing different kinds of fabrication and design work. The shop is full of tools, welding gear, and pieces of iron and steel. It’s a noisy place with the sound of cutting and grinding going on most of the day. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most people just come straight to the workshop to see what we’re making. The air usually has that metallic smell and a bit of smoke from the welding. We’re a small team, and we all get our hands dirty. Gota Gam has changed a lot over the years, but the estate stays pretty much the same. We just focus on the job at hand, making sure the metal pieces are shaped correctly and the welds are strong. It’s honest work, and we enjoy the process of turning raw metal into something useful. Usually, we are busy with local orders from nearby builders or homeowners. It’s not a big operation, but we stay steady. We like being part of the local industrial community here in Gota. There's always someone nearby to borrow a tool from or chat with during a quick break in the afternoon.
