If you head over to Shahibaug in Ahmedabad, you’ll find us at Smb Agro Industries Private Limited. We are on the first floor of Block C in the Advance Business Park. It is right opposite the Swaminarayan Mandir, which is a big landmark everyone knows. The traffic on that road can be a nightmare during rush hour, so we usually try to get in early before the noise starts. The office is pretty standard, with some desks and a computer that’s a bit slow sometimes. We deal with agro industries, which means a lot of talking to people in the trade and keeping track of market prices. It’s not exactly glamorous, but it is the kind of work that needs to be done. We get a lot of people walking in just because they saw the sign while going to the temple. The air conditioning in the building is okay, but it struggles when it gets really hot in May. We have a small pantry where we make our own coffee because the stuff from the machine downstairs isn't great. Most of the staff has been here for a while, so we all know how the system works. We don't have any big marketing team or anyone writing fancy scripts for us. We just handle the business, talk to our clients, and try to get home before the evening traffic gets too bad. It’s a regular Ahmedabad business life, honestly. There is always someone coming or going, and there is usually a stack of folders waiting to be filed.
